The film was commercially successful and achieved the highest level of commercial success. The budget was more than 10 times the amount it made. The film was also praised by the critics. She played the same role in the films three sequels. The popularity of her character grew following her performance in the main role in the popular sitcom Friends. For her role she won numerous nominations and awards. The drama that was a huge hit, lasted for ten seasons. Recent work of hers includes an acting role in Mothers and Daughters, a drama film. Her awards include those of the TV Guide Award, which she won for her work as a character in Friends. Another honor was that of the Golden Derby Award that she received for her part in Cougar Town.
