Anamaria Marinca, born in Romania, is an actress. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks French, German, English and Romanian fluently. Her mother was a violinist, Her father is a theatre professor at one of Romania's best acting schools. At the Mangalia Gala for Young Actors in 2000, she took home the Best Female Actor Award 2000. She was chosen as an European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. She taught in the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for 4 years. bAnamaria is a Romanian Actress born 01 April 1978 in Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress with Romanian descent has made her screen debut in the television series British-Canadian called Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for this role. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic won an award from the British Academy of Television, for Best Actress. She also received several honors for her work in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 three weeks and 2 days" (4 Months Three Weeks and 2 Days) which earned her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two additional awards: it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Additionally, she was an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She played Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014), she appeared as Irma who was the German woman, who played Emma's aunt.
